A Fall Sweater

This cozy sweater is a project I have slowly been working on since February of this year. If I had been more intentional with this project it would not have taken nearly that long, but it was good timing that I finished it right as fall was starting! I followed a pattern I found in a knitting magazine and used Classic Shades made by Universal Yarn.

Mom gave me this yarn as a gift after she picked it up at a yarn festival, and it worked out great for this project! Below are some photos of the process:

This yarn has a beautiful color grade to it, alternating through shades of purples and oranges. Perfect for fall!

The pattern begins with a simple Knit 2, Purl 1 rib, and then moves into a Moss Stitch.

The front panels have a nicely knitted collar that eventually will become sewn together with the Kitchener Stitch.

Blocking all of the individual pieces before sewing everything together!

The final product!
